Ana De Biase Ph.D
Director & Founder of the Institute of Bilingual Education
Ana de Biase has actively worked to promote the importance of bilingualism as an essential tool for promoting human development. She has lived and worked in Europe and America, specializing in the areas of psychology, education, and linguistics with a focus on the cognitive processes involved in language acquisition, second language learning, and the development of bilingualism in institutional and social settings.
Her interest in teaching and research has led her to specialize in psycholinguistic approaches in general, and in the following topics in particular: 1) Theories of mother tongue and second language acquisition (L2), 2) Cognitive development in second language learning; and 3) Cognitive perspectives on the development of language competence. Thus, her main interest lies in promoting bilingualism through dissemination, research, holistic curriculum design, and teacher and student training through consistent pedagogical strategies.
In 2020, the University of Chicago awarded her a special mention, being selected for the University of Chicago Outstanding Educator Award. This is a recognition of teaching excellence aimed at educators who have substantially influenced, stimulated, or aided students throughout their educational journey, promoting their intellectual and personal growth in a comprehensive way.

Ana De Biase is:
Doctor, Cum Laude, in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Linguistics and Bilingualism, from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).
Master's in Cognitive Psychology and Learning - with honors - from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).
Bachelor in Sociology with a specialization in methodology and research - with honors - from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).


Federico Huber M.A.
Communications Strategist & Content Developer - Co funder IBE
Federico Huber is a communication strategist and content creator with over 20 years of experience crafting narratives that drive change. At IBE, he applies his expertise in strategic communication, media production, and educational content development to initiatives promoting global competence, intercultural understanding, and inclusive education.
His career spans journalism, political consultancy, and media strategy, with a track record of producing cultural television shows recognized by prestigious awards such as the Martín Fierro, FundTV, and Clarín. Federico’s ability to shape impactful narratives enables him to create compelling educational materials that foster critical thinking and global awareness.
At IBE, he leads the development of key international projects, including the Global Competence Diploma, an innovative program designed to equip students with ethical decision-making skills, intercultural awareness, and civic responsibility. His work ensures that education extends beyond the classroom, preparing individuals for meaningful global engagement.
Federico design and develop IBE’s Cross-Cultural Interaction Project in Uganda, producing in-depth reports on Uganda’s social and historical landscape to promote cultural sensitivity and intercultural dialogue. He fosters sustainable and respectful engagement between volunteers and local communities.
In the STOP HATE Project—our initiative to dismantle hate speech and prevent misinformation—he develops powerful educational resources and disruptive communication strategies. Through this initiative, he empowers communities, journalists, and educators to recognize and counteract harmful narratives.
Federico’s expertise in content development, media strategy, and education positions him as a key figure in shaping IBE’s vision.
