This workshop aims to support teachers and school leaders in collaborating to create the best study programmes for each year and educational stage, as well as in implementing the most effective assessment systems.

A fundamental aspect is working in a coordinated way to design and structure various types of content comprehensively, including knowledge, concepts, skills, attributes, and agency, ensuring these are delivered progressively, both quantitatively and qualitatively. In other words, it is important to consider not only the amount of information students are expected to learn, but also the level of depth, understanding, and application of that knowledge.

Furthermore, this content must be captured in a planner that serves as an essential guide for teachers and students throughout the learning process. It is crucial to design content in a sequenced way, aligned with the curricular requirements of each community and country, as well as in a transdisciplinary manner across other subjects, especially Spanish.

Finally, the workshop addresses how to integrate assessment coherently with the learning content. Formative and summative assessment enables us to measure the extent of students’ learning and its alignment with objectives. To achieve this, it is necessary to establish personalised assessment systems that align with students’ academic challenges.
