This workshop consists of several modules focused on understanding the importance of Cambridge exams in promoting balanced bilingualism and in effectively tracking the performance of both students and teachers.
It examines the structure of the exams, from the Young Learners suite through to C1/C2, to gain insight into how students’ language competencies are designed and assessed across different levels and age groups.
In addition, it compares the advantages of Cambridge exams with other assessment systems, highlighting strengths such as objectivity, standardisation, reliability, validity, and prestige.
The workshop also addresses pedagogical strategies for effectively preparing students for these exams, as well as the practical implications for curriculum planning and development.
